Thank you for your interest in Cozy Up Wool Batting, a product of Greenfleece Fiber Mill. This Shipping & Returns Policy explains how we handle order processing, freight delivery, inspection, and returns for wool batting and related bulk services.
1. What We Sell and How Orders Work
Cozy Up Wool Batting is produced primarily for wholesale customers and is made to order. Minimum width is 36 inches, maximum width is 110 inches, and the minimum order size is 600 lbs.
Because each order is made to specification, shipping timelines and freight costs depend on order size, packaging requirements, and destination.
2. Order Processing & Production Lead Time
- Order confirmation: Orders are confirmed after specifications are reviewed (size/width, quantity, packaging, delivery address, and unloading capabilities).
- Lead times: Because batting is made to order, lead times vary. An estimated production and ship date will be provided during order confirmation.
- Address accuracy: Please verify shipping details before confirmation. Address changes after scheduling may cause delays and additional carrier fees.
3. Shipping Methods
- Orders typically ship via freight or other methods appropriate for bulk materials.
- Carrier selection and service level (standard or expedited, where available) depend on shipment size, weight, and destination.
4. Shipping Costs
Shipping charges are based on weight, dimensions, delivery location, and access requirements (such as limited-access sites, appointment delivery, lift-gate service, or inside delivery).
Shipping costs will be quoted or included in your final invoice or order confirmation.
5. Delivery & Receiving Requirements
Freight deliveries generally assume commercial delivery access. To avoid delays and extra charges:
- Ensure someone is available to receive the shipment during the scheduled window.
- Confirm you have appropriate unloading capability (dock, forklift, pallet jack, or lift-gate service if arranged).
- Storage, re-delivery, or failed delivery fees charged by the carrier may be passed through to the customer.
6. Tracking and Delivery Status
- Tracking information will be provided after dispatch when available.
- Freight shipments may require delivery appointments, and transit times can vary.
7. Inspect Upon Arrival (Important)
- Inspect packaging and product immediately upon delivery.
- If visible damage is present, note it on the delivery receipt before signing and take photos.
- Report issues as soon as possible after delivery so we can assist with claims or next steps.
8. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Shipments
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us with your order details and photos. We will work with you on the appropriate resolution, which may include replacement (when feasible) or another remedy depending on the situation.
9. Return Eligibility
Because Cozy Up Wool Batting is made to order and produced to customer specifications, returns and exchanges are generally not accepted unless:
- The product is defective, or
- The wrong item or specification was shipped.
If a return is approved, the material must typically be unused and in original condition and packaging.
10. How to Request a Return (If Eligible)
To request a return authorization, provide your order number, specifications, delivery date, and reason for return. If eligible, return instructions and authorization will be issued.
11. Return Shipping
- If the return is due to our error or a confirmed defect, we will coordinate next steps.
- Otherwise, return shipping and freight costs (including pickup fees) may be the customer’s responsibility.
12. Refunds
Approved refunds, if applicable, are typically issued after inspection and verification. Freight and accessorial charges are generally non-refundable once a shipment has moved, unless required by law or specifically agreed to in writing.
